St Croix MoJo Bass flyrod
« on: April 29, 2017, 11:36:39 AM »
I've been  wanting a Rod that would handle bigger woolyboogers and poppers to target bass and was hoping it would still feel light enough to fight big bluegills . I think I found it
It's rare to find a way to get anthing off a St Croix rod , they rarely discount any of them .
I figured out a way to get $20 off the Mojo bass flyrod and ordered one .
I ordered the 7wt. It's 7'11" and weighs 3.5 oz. pretty light for a 7wt rod with a fighting butt .
I got to cast it this morning for about an hour before the town pond folks starting taking over the park . Had one hit on a size 8 wooly worm and missed it . This was after giving up on my poppers and a couple size 4 and 6 woolyboogers.
can't wait to give it a good workout one day next week and get it slimed . Gillchaser

You've had enough time now to provide a good review.  :)  How about it?

If others have experience with these rods, I'd like to hear from them as well.

I need another 2 pc, 7-wt to carry around in my truck for pond hoping and believe this will fit the bill.  Sure would like to read a review or two before I commit.
